On February 9, social networks began to appear that tariffs for water supply in Kiev allegedly increased four times. However, at PJSC “AK“ Kyivvodokanal ”they denied this information, noting that it was false.
The company explained that there was no increase in tariffs. Tariffs for centralized water supply and sewerage for the population remain at the level established on February 24, 2022. The inconsistency in the accruals was caused by a technical failure in payment systems.
The Kyivvodokanal called for consumers not to make payments until the problem is resolved. They also stressed that the accrual in the company's billing system is displayed correctly, and called not to panic due to a technical failure.
