Ukrainian athlete Yulia Levchenko won a silver medal in height at the stage of the continental tour, which took place in the Czech city of Brno. This is the second award of the athlete after winning in Warsaw.
During the competition, Levchenko overcame 1.96 meters on the first attempt, and from the third - 1.98 meters, which was the best result in the season and at the same time the best in the last two years. British Morgan Lake and Australian Eleanor Patterson could not take this height.
In the subsequent struggle for the bar at the level of 2.00 meters, the Ukrainian woman gave way to Australian Nicolai Olislagers, who overcame her on the last attempt and won gold.
Thanks to the result of 1.98 meters Levchenko also fulfilled the qualification standard for the World Cup.
Another representative of Ukraine - Yulia Chumachenko - participated in the competitions. It completed the tournament in the eleventh position with a result of 1.79 meters.
