Summer passenger traffic on the border of Ukraine, how to avoid queues

With the onset of summer vacations and vacations on the western border of Ukraine, a significant increase in the number of people who want to leave the country has been recorded. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, passenger traffic through checkpoints in Lviv can increase to 40% compared to everyday regime.

The largest load is at checkpoints: Krakowiec, Shehyni (especially departure from Ukraine). Moderate load is observed in the points: Rava-Ruska, Grusov, Ugrin. The smallest queues are currently recorded in the points: Nizhankovichi, Smilnytsia. Border guards advise to leave Ukraine on weekdays - in the morning or late evening hours, and for entry into the country - to choose a weekend. This will help to avoid long -term queues. Due to large -scale repair work in "Shehiny", the movement of cars and trucks is temporarily restricted, especially in the direction of leaving Ukraine. These works can lead to additional delays. The Border Service calls travelers to plan trips in advance, take into account the situation at checkpoints and pay attention to less loaded crossings at the border in the Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi and Volyn regions.

Timely travel planning will help reduce the waiting time and make the trip as comfortable as possible.
