Maersk, the world's largest container carrier, will resume routes through the Red Sea

The International Danish company Maersk has announced the restoration of the movement of its containers from Asia to Europe through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. The decision of the company is made in the context of an operation conducted by the United States and their allies, aimed at patrolling the maritime path and protecting civilian vessels from possible terrorist attacks.

Maersk plans to send the first ships by the sea as soon as possible, but warns that the decision can be canceled depending on the level of risk. In the Red Sea, since November, the Yemeni Hussites have been ongoing on merchant vessels, which are accused of connection with Israel. The group supports Hamas in conflict with Israel.

Houses seized the Galaxy Leader cargo ship and took up to 25 people. Later, as a result of the actions of the US destroyer USS Mason, the attack was reflected. Houses also use rockets and drones for trading and military vessels. A number of countries have announced a joint operation of Prosperity Guardian to ensure the safety of the sea movement in the Red Sea.

On December 23, the Iranian drone struck a tanker with Chem Pluto chemicals in the Indian Ocean, which was the seventh attack of Iran on a commercial ship in 2021.
