Mass blackouts and flight delays in northern Europe due to hurricane-force winds

In Northern Europe, the impact of the Ishi storm is currently unfolding, which has led to common hurricane winds and violations in air travel, as well as mass power outages.

In Ireland, more than 170,000 homes, farms and enterprises were left without electricity, and a similar situation has occurred in thousands of homes in the United Kingdom. Energy reports that the restoration of power supply may take time as repair work is currently dangerous.

The planes that headed to the cities of Ireland and the United Kingdom were forced to change their routes, leading to many hours of passenger transplants. Some of them are not yet able to get their destinations.

In the Netherlands, about 130 flights were abolished only in Amsterdam due to wind gusts, which reach more than 100 kilometers per hour. About 68,000 clients in Amsterdam were left without electricity, and most trams have stopped working.
