Deputy Chairman of the Russian Rada Dmitry Medvedev staged another information round, commenting on Donald Trump's about threats to strike Moscow in response to Russia's aggression in Ukraine. According to Medvedev, Trump could not really threaten the Russian capital, because their relationship was allegedly "quite warm".
In a comment to the Russian propaganda media, Medvedev stated that if Trump had really made such threats, Vladimir Putin would give a decisive answer, causing a "blow to Washington." This statement again confirms the Kremlin's famous tactics - to deny or reduce the threats from the event, while showing the contempt for US politicians' statements.
What did Trump say?
Medvedev's statements appeared on the background of Trump's interview for The Wall Street Journal , in which he claims that he threatened Putin with a "strong blow to Moscow" if he dared to invade Ukraine. "Vladimir, if you go to Ukraine, I will put such a strong blow that you won't even believe it. I am going to hit the center of Doban Moscow," Trump said while talking to the Russian leader.
