Mexico is likely to elect a woman as its next president

Mexico is approaching the historical moment when in June he probably chooses her first president woman. Both leading candidates - women, however, regardless of the election results, may be difficult to act relatively independently due to the president and President Andres Manuel Lopez, the projects and financial restrictions have been reflected.

The President-Popalist has actively continued to offer expensive new projects over the last months of his term before leaving September 30. It is expected that he will leave many unfinished initiatives, which will probably limit the movement of the adjacent candidate for most of its six -year term. Even if the opposition candidate wins the Witl Galves, it also faces the fact that the consequence of financial obligations will be stopped.

Currently, a candidate from the Lopez Obrador Party, the former Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum mayor, is leading in the polls. The third male candidate from a small party is almost no chance of winning.

"The next administration will inherit the country with financial problems, which will limit the opportunity to maneuver over the next term," said Moody's Alfredo Kutinho's analytical director. "In order to neutralize current financial vulnerability, the new administration will have to adjust the financial policy (expenses or taxes) in 2025."
