The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved a strategic anti-corruption program for 2025-2026, which is aimed at introducing systemic changes to combat abuse in the defense sector. This initiative aims to create a culture of integrity and responsibility among military officials and civil servants.
The program includes a number of key activities:
- Improvement of legislation to eliminate gaps and increase the efficiency of regulation of the defense sphere.
- Inventory of military property with the registration of real estate and land rights.
- Starting an electronic control system for the use of fuel to minimize the risks of corruption.
- Audit and evaluation of intellectual property objects and creation of an automated system to evaluate them.
- Transparent defense procurement mechanisms and a state system of quality assurance of defense products.
The program implementation will be monitored by the Department of Prevention and Detection of Corruption, which will regularly analyze its effectiveness. The results of the inspections will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Defense, which will help ensure transparency of initiatives.
It also provides for the introduction of a curriculum that will cover advanced training and specialized training in anti -corruption legislation.
According to the Ministry's statement, the implementation of the program will increase the efficiency of resources, enhance Ukraine's defense capability and help to harmonize the standards of work of the defense sector with NATO principles.
