The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has developed three variants of the bill aimed at resolving issues related to the demobilization of military personnel. According to MP Oleksandr Fedienko, the laws provide for the possibilities of long -term rotation or treatment for the military, which can last from three to five months.
According to the deputy, none of the laws contains a direct term "demobilization", but they offer mechanisms that allow the military to receive longer breaks from service or undergo treatment. At the same time, none of the developed documents has yet been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada Committee for discussion.
Fedienko noted that the Ministry of Defense has declared the need for three months to revise or improve the drafts. However, the deputies remind that the Cabinet of Ministers had to submit the relevant document by December 18, 2024, in accordance with the current legislation. To accelerate this process, parliamentarians exert additional pressure on the government.
