Moscow voiced the topics for negotiations in Istanbul

On Tuesday, May 13, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov commented on topics that the Russian Federation plans to consider during future negotiations in Istanbul. According to him, the main attention on the "agenda" will be paid to the question related to "reliable and stable settlement of the conflict in Ukraine."

Ryabkov noted that one of the key topics will be the consideration of "primary sources of this conflict", by which Russia means problems related to the "denacification of the Kiev regime" and a change in the political situation in Ukraine. In particular, it is about providing the so -called "realities that have recently developed on Earth", which reflects Russia's position on the occupied territories, which it officially included in its country.

The agenda of the negotiations, according to Ryabkov, will remain unchanged. This confirms previous statements that Russia intends to focus on guarantees of stability and long -term settlement of the situation in Ukraine through political and territorial changes. In particular, Russia plans to achieve the recognition of the "new territories" that it has seized as a result of the conflict.
