The IMF commented on the work of the mission in Ukraine, emphasizing in difficult circumstances. The head of the mission of the International Monetary Fund in Ukraine, Gavin Gray stated that missions have to work in a dynamic context. The NBU press service reports.
As Gray noted, based on the successful practice of passing the sixth view of the program, the IMF hopes for effective decisions and successful results of the seventh revision.
NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny stressed during a meeting with representatives of the mission that the joint work of Ukraine with the IMF is a valuable asset not only for Ukraine but also for the Fund itself.
Representatives of the IMF and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine discussed the fulfillment of the conditions of the EFF program, the degree of readiness for the seventh revision, as well as the goals and expected results of the mission. In case of successful completion of the revision, Ukraine will receive a tranche of about $ 918 million.
The Ukrainian side assured the Fund representatives, which makes every effort to successfully implement the EFF program, since its continuation is a key condition for maintaining stable external funding.
