NATO peacekeepers can appear in Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Russia has no right to interfere with Ukraine's decision to deploy peacekeeping forces in its territory. According to him, Ukraine, as a sovereign state, has the right to invite allied troops to strengthen its defense and demonstrate support.

Macron made these comments after several European and non -European countries have expressed a desire to join a coalition for the deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine. The purpose of the coalition created is not a massive departure of troops, but the deployment of several thousand soldiers from each country in key cities of Ukraine, such as Kiev, Lviv and Odesa. This will significantly strengthen the country's defense capability and confirm long -term support from international partners.

Despite Russia's protests on the possible placement of EU and NATO troops in Ukraine, Macron noted that the Kremlin has no right to influence the issue. "Ukraine is a sovereign state, and if it invites allied troops to its territory, Russia cannot be part of this decision," Macron emphasized. The President of France stressed that the strategic goal of the coalition is not to occupy, but to stabilize the situation and support Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty. He also noted that it was not about the creation of a large military contingent, but about the symbolic placement of troops at key points for security and training programs.

Both European and non -European countries have joined the support of the peacekeeping mission for Ukraine. Turkey also expressed their willingness to send its troops to Ukraine, which emphasizes the global nature of this coalition.
