In the village of David, Brid in Kherson plans to build a new outpatient clinic of family medicine. The previous medical facility has been destroyed during the fighting, and local residents have been left without proper medical care for over a year. Despite the urgent need, the tender for the construction of a medical institution is announced for the third time.
About it reports the Center for Public Investigations with reference to data from the Prozorro system.
According to information, the Department of Development of Territories of the Kherson Regional State Administration again announced a tender for the construction of an outpatient clinic - this time, taking into account the updated project documentation. The expected cost of the work exceeds UAH 15.3 million, the auction is scheduled for June 2, you can submit proposals by May 30.
According to the project, construction from scratch is provided: the new outpatient clinics should appear, procedural, vaccination room, as well as modern engineering solutions - solar panels and rainwater collection system. The works are planned to be completed by the end of 2026. Advance is 30% of the cost of work.
The previous tender, which took place in April, was not successful: two companies - "Green Capital" and "Budinfrastructure" took part in it, the latter offered the price lower than the expected by 163 thousand hryvnias. However, its proposal was subsequently rejected, formally due to the lack of acceptable proposals. The companies gave time to April 30 to correct the shortcomings, but the tender was still canceled.
Earlier, in March 2024, the construction contract was already signed with New Heat Technology, which was to complete the facility by the end of the year. But the works did not actually begin.
Thus, while the community of David's ford remains without a medical institution, the regional authorities are looking for a contractor again. At the same time, the issue of providing residents with basic medical services remains open.
