Fugitive People's Deputies Dmytrouk and Odarchenko were excluded from the committees

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to exclude People's Deputies Artem Dmytrouk and Andriy Odarchenko from the composition of parliamentary committees due to their illegal flight from the country. People's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced this on his Telegram page.

"The council supported the exclusion of two fugitive deputies from the committees," he wrote. In particular, Andrii Odarchenko was excluded from the anti-corruption committee, and Artem Dmytruk - from the law enforcement committee. 245 People's Deputies voted for this decision.

We will remind that the initiators of the exclusion were people's deputies from the "Servant of the People" faction Davyd Arakhamia, Anastasia Radina and Serhiy Ionushas, who registered the relevant draft resolution in the Verkhovna Rada.

Dmytruk and Odarchenko came under investigation due to illegal departure from Ukraine. At the end of August, Dmytruk illegally crossed the border with Moldova, requested asylum from the police, and later flew to Rome. Later, the State Bureau of Investigation declared him an international wanted man.

Andriy Odarchenko, in turn, became a suspect in the case of bribery of a high-ranking official of the State Reconstruction Agency, which the SAP and NABU reported back in November last year. In September of this year, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested Odarchenko in absentia, setting a bail of 15 million hryvnias, which was collected.
