Due to the projected heavy snowfall and blizzard in Kiev on November 26-27, local authorities announced the restriction of the entry of large transport to the city. The warning of the complications of weather conditions and the risk of collapse on the roads was published by the press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to the authorities, on November 27, large transport will not be able to enter the city to avoid traffic jams on the roads and ensure efficient operation of snow removal equipment. Due to the expected complications in the movement and operation of utility and energy enterprises, the authorities urged drivers to stay away from leaving the city and keep roads for emergency services.
The city's emergency, communal and road services have declared their readiness to eliminate the consequences of bad weather and ensure the safety of citizens. Drivers are urged to show prudence and refrain from traveling without urgent need, as well as keep their vehicles from parking on sidewalks and roadside, so as not to interfere with the work of special equipment.
