Untimely notification of departure abroad may cost subsidies

Subsidies for utilities are important for many Ukrainians, especially during the heating season. However, if one of the household members is more than 60 days abroad, it can be a reason to stop payments. The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) calls for citizens to be careful, as the late notification of departure can lead to the loss of the right to assistance.

If a household member went outside Ukraine for more than 60 days, it is not taken into account when calculating a subsidy; Exclude from household income and utilities standards.

For example, if three people are registered in the apartment, but two of them are more than two months abroad, the subsidy is charged only one inhabitant.

The citizen who receives a subsidy is obliged to inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine about the departure of a family member abroad for more than 60 days for 30 days. For those who live in the regions affected by the war, this rule applies after the abolition of martial law.

Such regions include: Kyiv; Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Lugansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions.

If the PFU reveals the fact of stay of a family member abroad and the lack of a corresponding message, a subsidy: stopping; Excessive money will have to be returned.

It is possible to renew a subsidy only after re -access to PFU at the beginning of a new heating or non -heating season.

Due to hostilities, many Ukrainians were forced to go abroad. Some do not consider that this may affect the subsidy calculation. In order to avoid financial difficulties, it is necessary to be responsible for notifying the authorities about changes in the composition of the household.

Timely informing PFU is not only a duty, but also a guarantee that support will be provided honestly and in accordance with the legislation.
