There are changes in the rules of crossing the border for drivers who transport humanitarian cargoes in Ukraine. In accordance with the new requirements, the driver's data must be entered in the automated humanitarian aid registration system. This innovation, according to People's Deputy Alexei Goncharenko, will help to control the transportation of humanitarian cargo and ensure proper order at the border.
Oleksiy Goncharenko noted that the decision to enter the person in the system will be made for three months. This will establish clear control over the transportation of goods and reduce possible abuses in this process. In order to get into the automated registration system, drivers must provide a number of documents. In particular, it should be a request for humanitarian aid, as well as justification from donors and recipients of assistance in the amount of cargo and the number of vehicles. All this will help to provide transparency in the process of humanitarian aid delivery to Ukraine.
These changes are part of a broader strategy aimed at improving the coordination and control of humanitarian goods coming to the country. Joint efforts, the Government and NGOs are trying to improve humanitarian aid delivery mechanisms and make this process as effective and transparent as possible.
