The new government of Poland dismissed the management of the state media: transition to a non-politicized media

The New Government of Poland, led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, has released government media leadership, such as Polish Television, Polish Radio and the Polish Press Agency. The authorities claim that these media have become too politicized under the government's predecessors from the Law and Justice Party.

State media, including TVP Info news, have been criticized for using their audience as a source of propaganda over the eight years of the Law of Law and Justice. The new government promises to depolyize these media, providing a more balanced approach.

In response to these actions of the new government, the Parliament adopted a resolution that calls on "all state bodies to immediately take measures aimed at restoring the constitutional order to access citizens to reliable information and the functioning of public media."

The Law and Justice Party, which opposed this initiative, expressed its dissatisfaction, spending night during the vote, but the resolution was still adopted. These actions have become part of the new government's greater efforts to put an end to the reforms that were done in the media during the previous government.

The Chairman of the National Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting, appointed on the recommendation of "Right and Justice", expressed his disagreement with the dismissal of the heads of the state media, arguing that it was violating the law.

Such actions of the new government testify to changing the approach to the media and the desire to create an uncomplicated and objective information platform for the public.
