The volume of cargo handling in Ukrainian ports increased by 15.8% this year

During January-November 2023, the seaports of Ukraine recorded an increase in the volume of transshipment by 15.8%, up to 52.8 million tons, compared to the same period last year. About it informs SE “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine” (AMPU) in the official account on the social network Facebook.

"The ports of Ukraine, working in the face of extremely important military circumstances, were able to achieve transshipment of cargo at 52.8 million tons against 45.6 million tons in 2022 in 11 months of 2023," the statement reads.

According to the AMPU, the volume of export cargo overload during January-November amounted to 47.9 million tons, while imported goods amounted to 4.6 million tons.
