Opposition deputies in Albania provoked a fire during a session in the parliament

Opposition deputies in Albania disrupted the parliamentary session as a manifestation of protest against, in their opinion, more and more authoritarian rule of socialists.

Democrats arranged an impressive protest, arranging chairs on each other and setting fire fire when Prime Minister Edie Rama began to vote for the budget for the next year. The guards did not allow opposition deputies to approach government places. The left-wing socialists, who have a majority in the 140-seater Parliament, quickly voted and closed the meeting in five minutes and postponed the budget discussion for a later date.

One of the fighters caused a small fire that the opposition deputies themselves extinguished.

The opposition requires the creation of parliamentary investigative commissions to investigate possible cases of corruption, which may be involved in the Prime Minister Rama and other high-ranking officials.

Socialists believe that the requirements of the opposition do not meet the Constitution.

One of the opposition deputies, Gazmend Bardi, stated that their goal is to show citizens that this parliament was not presenting their interests.

It should be noted that the riots began last month, soon before the prosecutor's office accused the former Prime Minister and President Sali Berish of corruption. The prosecutor's office claims that Berisha provided financial assistance to his son -in -law.

Bardi noted that the opposition could radicalize its protests, but did not specify how it was.

Albania, which is influenced by post -communist problems and fight against corruption, remains in the way of development, but political disputes and difficulties of government influence the country's democratic, economic and social progress.
