The survey shows a decrease in support for "SVO" in Russia

According to the latest survey of Levada-Center, residents of Moscow, who have been less affected by the consequences of the Kremlin's aggression against Ukraine, mainly support the continuation of the war-58% of respondents. Instead, in the provinces, about 60% of the population stands for peace talks, which indicates a growing need for conflict.

The negative effects of war

The survey also showed that almost half of the Russians (approximately 47%) believed that President Vladimir Putin's decision to start the so -called "special military operation" (his) led to death, grief and suffering. Many respondents noted that the war has caused more harm than benefits, including losses of human lives and the deterioration of the economic situation. Only 28% believe that the war brought more positive, which is 10% less than last year.

Reduced evaluations of their success

In addition, the number of those who consider it to be successful for Russia are reduced. In the first nine months of the year, this figure fell from 70% to 60%, which indicates a growing criticism among the population.

Supporting prisoners

Against this background, there is a steadily high support for the exchange of prisoners - 87% of those polled consider it desirable, another 7% are ready to recognize the exchange of the permissible condition for a possible peace agreement.
