Orban said: Trump promised not to provide financial support to Ukraine in case of election

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reported that former US President Donald Trump promised not to provide financial support to Ukraine in the event of his return to the White House.

"He has a clear vision that is hard to disagree with. He says the following: firstly, the Ukrainian-Russian war will not receive any financial support from him. Therefore, the war will end, as it is obvious that Ukraine will not be able to continue the war on its own," Orban explained.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, if the USA does not provide financial support, then Europe will also not be able to provide a sufficient level of funding for Ukraine, and then the war will end.

Orbán also noted that Trump has "quite detailed plans" for ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which coincide with the interests of Hungary. However, he noted that he has no right to disclose these plans.

Orbán previously met with Trump in Florida, where they discussed various issues related to Hungary and the United States, including the importance of strong borders to protect each country's sovereignty.

After the meeting, Orbán expressed his admiration for Trump, saying that his return to power would make the world a better place. In turn, Trump also praised Orbán's leadership qualities, calling him a "fantastic leader."
