The US Chamber of Representatives will consider the issue of assistance to Ukraine this week, said the chairman of the Intelligence Committee, Republican Mike Turner.
"Russia is starting to conquer positions. Ukraine is beginning to lose its ability to defend itself. The US must activate and give Ukraine weapons it needs. And I think we will see this week overwhelming support in this issue in the House of Representatives," Congressman said in an interview with NBC News.
Turner did not specify which version of the bill would consider the House of Representatives. Recall that Speaker Mike Johnson has previously announced that he would propose his own bill, which is translated into a credit basis for Ukraine, as well as certain conditions for domestic policy to the White House.
