The idea of a perfume wardrobe is to choose aromas according to the weather, events and mood you want to create or support. Just as a properly selected outfit can improve your first impression, perfumes can do the same and even more.
Many people underestimate the importance of a perfume wardrobe, but experts have called for not paying attention to it. According to perfume stylist Isabel Langlua and the director of the procurement and beauty department in Harrods Miyi Collins, a fragrant wardrobe is an individual set of favorite scents that can be worn separately or combined to create a perfect reflection of mood, image or event. They note that the logic of its creation is similar to that used in a regular wardrobe.
Extrapolating this approach to the aroma collection, it is necessary to include a variety of perfumes, from fresh flowers, citrus and green to warm, leather or wooden, depending on personal preferences. They are suitable for any outfit, mood, season and events, says Isabel Langlua.
Often, perfume fans create a perfume wardrobe in which each aroma has its own specific purpose.
With regard to the formation of perfume wardrobe, different scents for different images and moods should be taken into account. Some may choose scents according to the mood for every day, while others can choose scents for special occasions or seasonal changes. According to experts, it is important to consider what scents correspond to each season.
Regarding the amount of scents in the wardrobe, experts recommend at least four scents - one for each season. This is a reasonable beginning, and over time the collection can be expanded, choosing more fragrances, but smaller volumes, for example, 30 milliliters.
