US President Donald Trump said his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin was "very good". After the negotiations, the White House Head called for the immediate beginning of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to cease fire and the end of the war.
Trump wrote about it on his platform Truth Social. According to him, the parties must independently determine the conditions, because they "know the details of the negotiations that no one else will know about."
"The tone and spirit of the conversation were great," Trump emphasized. He also noted that Russia has expressed a desire to restore and expand trade with the United States after the end of the war. The US President supported this idea by calling it mutually beneficial to both parties.
"Russia has a tremendous opportunity to create a huge number of jobs and riches. Its potential is unlimited. Similarly, Ukraine can become a big beneficiary in the field of trade, in the process of restoring its country," Trump wrote.
According to him, negotiations between Russia and Ukraine should begin immediately, and the United States congratulate this process as a way to the end of a "catastrophic bloody bath".
