After Blinken's visit to Beijing, Taiwan experienced military activity from China

On Saturday, April 27, Taiwan watched China's military activity in the island. 12 Chinese aircraft crossed the Taiwanese Strait Line, which is celebrated only a day after the visit to China US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, was completed.

This line once served as an unofficial barrier between Taiwan and China, but now Chinese planes are regularly crossing it without recognizing its existence.

The Taiwanese Ministry of Defense reported that these planes were involved in joint patrols with Chinese warships, and the Taiwanese forces responded "properly" without specifying the details.

Although Taiwan's armed forces are well equipped and trained, they remain smaller than Chinese. China considers Taiwan the most important issue in relations with the United States and demanded that Washington stop selling weapons to the island.

The future President of Taiwan William Lai intends to take the post on May 20 after winning the election in January, but Beijing is already rejecting the possibility of negotiating with him, considering him as a separatist.

Even without official diplomatic ties, the United States remains the main international partner of Taiwan and a weapon supplier. Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, stressed the critical importance of maintaining peace and stability during his visit to China.
