President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held an important meeting with US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin and the Chairman of the Joint Committee of Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown at the US National University of Defense. The discussion concerned a number of key issues that include the development of the situation at the front and future cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the field of defense.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude for the implementation of agreements, in particular, to strengthen air defense. The President stressed that cooperation with the United States is strategically important for Ukraine in the context of global security and challenges facing the modern world.
The meeting also discussed the issues of military strategy, exchange of experience in the field of defense, and opportunities for joint development and modernization of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Important emphasis was on the need to further strengthen the partnership between countries in order to ensure stability and security not only in the region but also in the world.
It is noted that the results of the meeting will serve as a basis for further negotiations and cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in Defense and Security.
