Poland received the largest payment in its history from the European Union - 6.2 billion euros

On Monday, April 15, Poland witnessed the largest one in the history of its membership in the European Union of one -time payment of 6.2 billion euros (27 billion zlotys). This was stated by the Minister for Funds and Regional Policy Katarzhina Pelchinskaya-Nalench, stressing that this is a significant moment for the country.

In her address, she emphasized that EU membership means not only financial support, but also common values ​​and goals. The received funds will be aimed at the implementation of various projects, mainly in the field of infrastructure.

According to the Minister, this day is important for economics and investment in Poland, emphasizing the importance of this event for the further development of the country.

On February 29, the European Commission decided to unlock Poland's access to 137 billion euros from various EU funds, which Warsaw could not be obtained before the judicial system and the rule of law.

The European Commission came to the conclusion that Warsaw meets two requirements for obtaining funds from the Recovery and Sustainability Fund: regarding the independence of the judicial system and disciplinary liability of judges.
