Poland has expressed its intention to become the first country to restore airplane with Ukraine immediately after the opening of the Ukrainian airspace. This was stated on April 17 by the Polish Government for Reconstruction of Ukraine Pavel Koval during his speech, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the Polish side has long been preparing for this step, and key structures, including the Polish Air Movement and LOT, are developing appropriate plans.
“The Ukrainian side knows our position: we want the first flight after the opening of the sky above Ukraine is between Poland and Ukraine. It is a very important element that PAżp and Polish airlines are being prepared, ”Koval said.
The Polish Government representative stressed that Poland's aviation industry is one of the most interested in restoring cooperation with Ukraine. To this end, there were already two specialized Ukrainian-Polish seminars, during which the parties discussed the technical and logistical aspects of the future aviation.
In addition to air transport, Pavel Koval also named the three main areas that underlie the Polish-Ukrainian economic partnership: logistics, exports and investments. Poland considers its geographical location as an important advantage that will allow you to become a key transit node in the region.
Koval added that the Polish business community is actively preparing to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine and expects to create stable conditions for investment.
