Poland and Slovakia are strengthening their defenses on the eastern borders of Europe

Poland and Slovakia are actively cooperating in strengthening security at the eastern borders of Europe, implementing a common project called the "Eastern Shield". As part of this initiative, Poland invited Slovakia to participate in the construction of fortifications on the border with Russia and Belarus, aimed at enhancing the defensive capabilities of the two countries and the whole region.

The beginning of the cooperation and importance of the project was stated by the Polish National Defense Minister Vladislav Kosynia-Kkysh during his visit to Bratislava. He stressed that the strengthening of the eastern borders of Europe is critical for ensuring stability in the region, especially in the context of threats from Russia and its allies. The project involves not only the construction of physical fortifications, but also the integration of modern technologies for observation and intelligence. This will create a reliable barrier at the borders of Poland and Slovakia, making them inaccessible to any potential threats. One of the main aspects of this initiative is the use of the latest technologies to improve borders.

According to Kosiniak-Kaysh, such cooperation between Poland and Slovakia is an important step towards strengthening the defensive capabilities of not only these two countries, but of the entire Central and Eastern Europe. During the meeting, Bratislava discussed specific details of the project, including both the construction of fortifications and the deployment of additional security systems. This project is a logical continuation of Poland's efforts to modernize its defense infrastructure and increase stability in the region. For Slovakia, which has a common border with Russia, participation in the "eastern shield" is an important step in strengthening its defense capability and increasing the level of safety in its territory.

Thus, the Oriental Shield project not only strengthens the safety in East of Europe, but also becomes a symbol of solidarity between Poland and Slovakia in the fight against external threats. This is a prime example of how close cooperation between neighboring countries can help ensure stability and peace throughout the region.
