In China, designers turned an abandoned pool into an office - the Internet into a delight, but firefighters were not delighted. The Luban Decoration Group interior from Chenda, which was in the southwestern Sichuan province, received a minute of glory on social networks-and not thanks to apartments. The reason was the unexpected office space, equipped simply ... in an empty pool.
The photos that have spread on the network shows how workers sit at the tables right at the bottom of the former pool. The entrance to the office - through the usual handrails near the edges, and the plates on the walls ("Depth: 1.55 m", "Swimming zone") remained unchanged. The space contains several rows of fully equipped workplaces. "We have been working here for two months. This is a temporary decision for the time of repair," one of the company's employees explained. A peculiar office area is located on the same floor with a gym and has glass doors that lead directly to the pool. Electricity was organized through extension cords and floor sockets. The office quickly became viral. "I feel like in a fiction film. It's wildly-but cool!"-wrote one of the employees. Some of them joke that they see the marking of the pool just under the table, as if they work "in their own mini-basean for diving." The admiration on social networks quickly changed anxiety. Users began to question the safety of the "underwater" office. After a wave of discussions, firefighters intervened. Representatives of the local security service were inspected and found violations, including blocked evacuation exits and the lack of fire equipment.
After the investigation, the company left the office in the pool. Although the space looked creative, it was decided not to use it as a work area for security.
