The first ranking of regions of Ukraine according to the Index of local well-being is presented

The first ranking of the regions of Ukraine according to the local well-being index (LWBI-Local Well-Being Index) is presented, which was developed by the Rating Lab Research Laboratory and implemented on the Rating Online online research platform.

The emotional perception of its settlement was the highest rating (0.7), while the economic opportunities were the lowest (-0.9).

Leadership in the local well -being index (LWBI) confidently holds Kiev with 0.9 points on a scale from -3 to +3. It is followed by several regions that show the overall positive value of the index: Lviv (0.4), Ivano-Frankivsk (0.3), Kharkiv (0.3), Odesa (0.3), Volyn (0.3), Kiev (0.2) and Khmelnitskaya (0.2). However, several regions received negative values ​​of the index from -0.2 to -0.3, including Zhytomyr, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Sumy regions. Among those who received the lowest grades are Zaporizhzhya (-0.5), Mykolaiv (-0.5) and Kherson (-1.0) region.

According to the type of settlement, people in the villages were less satisfied with local well -being compared to locals, except for civil security, where the villages were ahead of cities.

The leaders in the emotional perception of their region were Kyiv (1.8), Kharkiv (1.1), Odesa (1.1), Lviv (1.0), Ivano-Frankivsk (0.9) and Volyn (0.8) region. The lowest grades were given to Mykolaiv (0.0), Kherson (0.1), Sumy (0.1) and Kirovohrad (0.1) region.

In the field of civil safety, the leaders were Western and central regions, including Ivano-Frankivsk (0.9), Volyn (0.8), Lviv (0.8), Ternopil (0.7), Vinnytsia (0.7), Khmelnitsky (0.7), Chernivtsi (0.6) and Cherkasy. Kyiv took only 13th place (0.4), and Kherson (-1.3), Zaporizhzhya (-0.8), Dnipropetrovsk (-0.3) and Mykolaiv (-0.2) oblast received the lowest grades.

Kyiv (0.9), Chernivtsi (0.6), Ivano-Frankivsk (0.6), Volyn (0.5), Odessa (0.4), Lviv (0.4), Khmelnitskaya (0.4) and Rivne (0.4) were leaders in education and medicine. Kherson (-0,9), Mykolaiv (-0.4) and Zaporizhzhya (-0.3) were the lowest grades, where the level of education and medicine is negative.

Regarding the orderliness of settlements, Kyiv (1.0) and Kharkiv (0.7) of the region, as well as Lviv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk regions with high estimates (0.4) were the leaders.

Kyiv is the only region where the economic opportunity index is positive (0.3), while in the remaining 22 regions is negative. So, after the capital, Kyiv (-0.5), Lviv (-0.6), Kharkiv (-0.7), Odesa (-0.7) and Dnipropetrovsk (-0.8) of the region have relatively best estimates by the level of economic opportunities.

METHODOLOGY

The survey audience : the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older in 22 regions and Kyiv, which have access to the Internet and use a smartphone (more than 80% of the adult population). The survey was not conducted in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya region, and in general in Donetsk, Luhansk region. and Crimea. Selective set: 8572 respondents, or at least 350 respondents per region (residence residence as of the poll). The error at the level of the region is not more than 5%. The terms of the survey: November 22 - December 2, 2023. Method: online survey through messengers and social networks. To achieve accidental selection and maximum coverage, 2.287 million attempts were made to which 69250 respondents were reached, of which:
