President Volodymyr Zelensky has intention to negotiate with the leaders of partner countries and introduce new support packages for the Ukrainian army. The head of state made this announcement during the video address, which took place on Monday, November 13.
“I have held several meetings today about our new international steps planned for the coming weeks. Negotiations with partner leaders, new support packages for our soldiers, international communication of Ukraine. We have a completely clear result: regardless of the information agenda, our partners should understand and hear.
The President also announced a long meeting with diplomats, government officials and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada on preparation for the political decision of the Euro Council on the beginning of negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the European Union.
"We are working on getting an unconditional decision to start negotiations. For Ukraine it is fundamental - to implement all the recommendations of the European Commission, all seven recommendations, and to fulfill the necessary at this stage of our path in the European Union. The success of our state and people - economic, social, success in the development of Ukraine's relations with the world - can only Zelensky.
The Head of State also thanked the President of Romania Claus Johannis and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte for opening the pilot training center in Romania.
Promising the details and results of the negotiations, Zelensky emphasized the importance of international support and understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
