Czech President Peter Pavel said that after the end of the war, Prague should become part of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. He stressed that the country's security will be provided by European peacekeeping forces and the active participation of American business.
In an interview with "European Truth", Peter Pavel noted that the Czech Republic is already part of the Coalition of those who want, so it is logical that its military should join the peacekeeping mission. At the same time, this issue raises discussions within the country. According to him, stability in Ukraine will depend not only on military support, but also on the involvement of US investors, which will help in rebuilding the country and ensuring economic security. On NATO's membership in NATO, Paul spoke restrained. In his opinion, Kyiv will not be able to join the Alliance in the near future, as US President Donald Trump opposes Ukraine's rapid accession.
At the same time, he believes that the issue of Ukraine's membership in NATO should not be completely closed. In three years, the US may change in the United States, which will affect the further policy on Ukraine.
"There will be another government in the US in three years. And we can see a different opinion under the new administration," the Czech President added.
