Discussions of a new aid package for Ukraine and Israel continue

Senators have resumed discussions on an extended assistance package, including funding for Israel and Ukraine. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak. The negotiations are attended by Democrat Chris Murphy, Republican James Lancford, and the "Independent" representative Kristen Sinema.

Yesterday they held an offline meeting, and today - in remote mode. Negotiations seem to plan to continue the whole day off in order to start the process of consideration of the bill on Monday. According to the People's Deputy, the discussion mainly concerns immigration policy, and it is important that the financial part for Ukraine causes a minimum of disputes.

It is noted that a compromise has already been reached about the conditions of asylum in the United States. Zheleznyak reminded that the term for voting of Congress was limited by the period from December 11 to December 14.
