Given the reduction of Western support of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin intends to escalate the war.
Representatives of the United States are concerned, noting that they do not see Putin's serious efforts to find ways to complete hostilities.
However, Alexey Mukhin, the head of the Moscow Center for Political Information, which provides consulting services for the Presidential Administration, claims that Putin intends to go to escalation because his main goal is a victory.
It is also noted that the Russian Federation plans to create two new general military armies, 14 divisions and 16 brigades by the end of the year, according to the Defense Minister Sergei Shoig.
However, analysts note that Russia may face difficulties in carrying out new major actions, because to capture cities such as Kharkiv and Odesa, much more resources are needed than the Kremlin is now available.
