In the State Duma of Russia, they develop a bill, which provides for the allocation of "Eastern Ukrainian hectares" in the occupied territories. About it reports "Kommersant", referring to Alexei Zhuravlev, leader of the party "Family", initiator of the project.
According to Alexei Zhuravlev, this initiative is a new program similar to "Far Eastern" and "Arctic" hectares. The main feature of this program is the provision of land to Russian citizens in the occupied parts of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions.
The initiators of the bill estimate the potential volume of occupied land in the amount of about 100 million hectares. According to their plans, priority in the provision of land will be given to participants of armed conflicts in Ukraine.
It is important to note that this initiative is under development, and its final implementation will require discussion and legislative adoption.
