King Charles' Christmas message calls for protecting the planet

King Charles III reflected the topic of his coronation in the civil service on Monday in the Christmas ambassador, which he linked to the health of the planet and the wars that are raging.

In a pre -recorded video on which he stands near the Christmas tree in the Buckingham Palace, the king spoke about the message of Jesus' life in the service to those who were less fortunate because he honored the "selfless army", which forms the "basis of our society", helping others.

"My heart was warmed by countless examples of people creatively care about each other, doing their best to help others, simply because they know it is right," he said.

It was the second Christmas speech of the king after he came down to the throne after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died in September 2022, but the first after his coronation in May, when he was officially crowned at the medieval ceremony, rich in entertainment and pompous.

Charles, who has long been campaign for environmental protection and recently told foreign leaders at the COP28 climate meeting that the achievement of climate goals remains "terribly far from the way", he said that he is inspired by the growing awareness of the need to protect the Earth.

"To take care of this creation is the responsibility that people of all faithful are borne," he said. "We care for the land for the sake of children, our children."

In its gesture before the sustainable development, the evergreen plant that stood next to it was decorated with natural decorations of wood, dried oranges, cones and paper. The tree lives in the palace, should be transplanted after the holidays.

When Charles spoke, the video showed the main points of his last year, including assistance in planting a tree while traveling to Kenya - his first state visit as a monarch with Queen Camilla to the Commonwealth Country.

It also had coronation frames, on which he stated: "I came not to serve me, but to serve." The other video shows his eldest son, Prince William, the heir of the throne, along with his wife Kate, Princess Wales, and their three children fulfill this mission, helping to rebuild the Scout hut during the day of service.

His alienated son, Prince Harry, who left the ranks of high -ranking members of the royal family when he moved to the United States in 2020 with his wife Megan, was not shown in video. Harry, who appeared at the coronation, was sitting in the third row, ignited the tension with his beasts-in-law memoirs, published at the beginning of the year, in which his brother accused of beating.

At a time of "more tragic conflict around the world", referring to wars in Ukraine and between Israel and Hamas, Charles referred to the words of Christ: "Do others the way you want them to do with you."

"They remind us that we need to imagine ourselves in the place of our neighbors and look for their good as our own," he said. "My heart and my gratitude are pouring to all who serve each other, everyone who cares for our common house, and everyone who sees and looks for the good of others is not least a friend who we do not yet know."
