Robert Fizo is under investigation because of a meeting with Putin

The Prosecutor General's Office of Slovakia will consider the complaint filed by the Public Association "Mir Ukraine" (Mier Ukraine), regarding the actions of Prime Minister Robert Fitzo in connection with his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor General's Office Jan Tyokiolev.

The complaint concerns Fitzo's long -standing policy, which activists call it "legitimizing Putin", which has been issued an international arrest warrant. According to representatives of "Peace of Ukraine", Slovakia is a list of countries recognized by the Russian Federation "hostile", which, in their opinion, meets Fitzo with Putin unacceptable.

"The request for revision of the actions of Prime Minister Robert Fitzo will be considered in accordance with the law," Tyokiolev said. However, she did not specify when the results of the audit can be expected.

The Association of Mir of Ukraine emphasizes that such actions of the premiere pose a threat to the international image of Slovakia and call into question its political position in relations with EU and NATO countries. Activists call for a thorough investigation, which should determine whether Fitzo's actions are consistent with the national interests of Slovakia.
