On Wednesday night, May 7, Kyiv suffered another attack by Russian drones. According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, fires and destruction occurred in several parts of the capital as a result of the work of the air defense and the fragments of drones in several parts of the capital.
Residential buildings in Svyatoshinsky and Dniprovsky districts were the greatest damage. In the Svyatoshinsky district, the wreckage was hit by a 10-storey building, resulting in apartments on 7, 8 and 9 floors. In the Dnieper district, the partial destruction of two upper floors of another apartment building is reported.
In addition, the fragments fell in the Solomenskiy district, where they caused fire in the open area. In the Shevchenkivskyi district there was also a fire after the fall of the debris - the fire covered a residential building and a supermarket.
Rescue services work promptly on the ground. Information about the victims is currently clarified. The city authorities urge residents to follow safety measures and not ignore air alarm signals.
