Beginning with the formation of two districts - Moscow and Leningrad, on the basis of the Western Military District, the troops continue.
A new military group called "Sever" was created, which unites the former groups of the cover of the border "Bryansk", "Kursk" and "Belgorod". The head of this new group was Colonel-General A. Lapin. The area of responsibility of the group is located on the territory of Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation. The composition of the new group includes up to 48 thousand people, 350-360 tanks, 860 combat armored vehicles, 940-950 artillery systems, 110-120 rocket launchers and 4-6 starting installations of the operative-tactical missile complex.
According to Konstantin Mashovets, the coordinator of the information resistance group, the movement of troops has not yet been completed, but the formations and directions will be distributed later.
The troops from the Western Military District continue. The forces and means of the 1st Guards Tank Army, the 20th and 25th All-Military Armies, which operated in Kupyansk and Liman directions, are part of a new group.
According to the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Estonia, Major General Eno Micz, Russian invaders use the amoeba tactics at the front. They experiment with small forces in different directions and hope for a chance.
Myitz also noted that Russia is trying to expand the front line to force Ukraine to expand the defense and thin it.
Despite the continued attacks of Russian troops on Ukraine, the Ukrainian side continues to take active measures to protect their positions.
