This is what Bild's military analyst Julian Ryopke believes.
The peacekeeping forces, which were in Karabas from the fall of 2020, began withdrawing this week. The contingent numbered about 2,000 soldiers. Together with heavy equipment, they are exported from Azerbaijan by rail across the border to Dagestan.
According to Ryopke, there are "some fears" that this contingent, including dozens of fairly new BTR-82A, will go to Ukraine.
The military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko told what their number is and what potential they have to strengthen one or another location of the invaders in Ukraine.
According to him, the so-called "Russian peacekeeping contingent" was formed on the basis of the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 2nd General Military District (known for its crimes in the Brovarsky district of Kyiv region) and amounted to 1,960 people .
"These units do not have heavy VTT type equipment (the main combat tank-ed.)
Therefore, he noted that "in the issues of configuring the technique of mechanized components here is more than enough, which is extremely rare for the unit of Russian troops in the war zone in Ukraine."
"Similarly, the units of the RMK (Russian peacekeeping contingent - ed.) Were formed from personnel military, which significantly distinguishes them from the composition of the majority of moles formations, which are now formed from anyone, but there is a nuance. With extremely high probability they will throw in hell, ”the expert said.
However, Kovalenko believes that "2 thousand bodies do not play much weather in the database", but in the area where they will appear, some pressure will still increase.
"Given where the 15th OMSBR operates, it can be either the Avdiivka area or the Liman direction. Although, given the increase in the importance for the command of the onset of the offensive at the time of the ravine, the appearance of these bodies is not excluded in this location," Kovalenko suggested.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani media reported the beginning of the final withdrawal of Russian "peacekeepers" and their equipment from the territory of the unrecognized republic of Nagirny Karabakh, which in the fall of 2023 returned under the control of Baku.
Soon the Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that his state removes his "peacekeeping forces" from the territory of Nagorny Karabakh.
