In October, the Ukrainian fleet was replenished with a large number of old cars that were imported from abroad. Data provided by the UKravtoprom Professional Association indicate the increase in the registration of such cars by 41% compared to October last year and by 1% compared to September this year.
It is interesting to note that the largest proportion in this segment of the market of old cars belongs to gasoline cars, accounting for 44% of the total. The following are diesel cars (31%), electric vehicles (17%), cars with gas cylinder equipment (HBO) - 5%, and hybrid cars - 3%.
Again, the leader in the registration of the second-hand is the Volkswagen Golf model, and all the top 5 popular models have remained unchanged for several months in a row.

- Volkswagen Golf - 1544 units.
- Renault Megane - 1200 units.
- Skoda Octavia - 960 units.
- Volkswagen Passat - 785 units.
- Nissan Leaf - 573 units.
- Volkswagen Tiguan - 451 units.
- Tesla Model 3 - 442 units.
- Audi A4 - 416 units.
- Ford Focus - 411 units.
- Nissan Qashqai - 404 units.
The average age of used cars registered in Ukraine in October is nine and a half years.
For the whole current year, 169.3 thousand old cars imported from abroad were registered in Ukraine. This number exceeds the number of new cars sold over the same period by 3.4 times. The increase in the popularity of old cars testifies to the constant activity of the secondary market of automotive sales in Ukraine.
