As of November 25, 2023, the damage to 1750 cultural objects was recorded in Ukraine, and most of the losses are noted in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
According to information from the Ministry of Culture, the largest part of the objects affected by the actions of the Russian side falls at club establishments, their contribution was 49% of the total number of damaged cultural infrastructure establishments.
In general, the following types of damage were recorded:
- Club establishments - 864;
- Libraries - 613;
- Institutions of art education - 136;
- Museums and galleries - 106;
- Theaters, cinemas and Philharmonic - 31.
Damage to cultural infrastructure in 266 territorial communities was also found, which is 18.1% of the total number of territorial communities of Ukraine. The highest level of damage was recorded in Donetsk (83%), Sumy (53%) and Kharkiv (52%) regions.
