Soon, low -cost passengers, such as Ryanair, Wizz Air and others, no longer have to worry about strict restrictions on hand luggage. The European Parliament is preparing a resolution that will oblige airlines to allow free transportation of hand luggage of certain size and weight. This will put an end to situations where tourists were fined hundreds of zlotys, pounds or euros for allegedly too large bags.
Now low -cost low -cost loocosters often allow you to take only a small backpack or bag, and for a little larger suitcases require a surcharge. Penalties for exceeding the size of luggage sometimes exceed the cost of the ticket itself. After adopting the new rules, passengers will no longer have to worry about these additional payments.
In addition, it is planned to introduce free transportation of children under 12 years of age who travel with parents, guardians or accompanying adults. It should also facilitate the trip of families with children.
However, airlines warn that these changes can lead to an increase in the cost of tickets. Due to the new liabilities of low costing, luggage transportation can increase, which will be reflected on the price for passengers.
Despite this, for most travelers, new rules will be true and make Europe's trips less stressful.
