At the beginning of December, a crossed of almost 50 weapons were found in the Dnieper by law enforcement officers. It is a weapon that was initially returned by volunteers, then "destroyed during arrival."
According to our sources, the SBU began its own investigation during which it was found out that it was not the only batch of "written off" weapons, but all equipment occur with the participation of the military. We are talking machines and pistols published in the early days of the war. The check showed that they were not fired from the weapon.
It is estimated that more than 300,000 weapons were issued in the first days of a full -scale invasion of the population. Therefore, law enforcement officers are trying to understand which part of it was lost as "destroyed". According to preliminary estimates, such weapons can be a quarter of the total.
