The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police neutralized in Odessa an agent group that worked at the FSB of Russia. The attackers, including three locals, were preparing a series of terrorist attacks in the south of Ukraine, including undermining a homemade explosive device with numerous victims. The group acted under the leadership of the Russian curator, with which they were in contact with Telegram channels.
FSB agents have developed and agreed on terrorist attack plans, making flammable tools and explosive devices. One of the group members, a 17-year-old young man, made explosions in Kiev in mid-November, laying it near one of the state bodies. The explosive device was filled with screws and nails, and its action was launched remotely.
After the SBU explosion, it was step by step to document the actions of the attacker, which allowed him to reach his accomplices and expose the entire network. The attacker was detained on hot when buying chemical components for the manufacture of new explosives.
During a special operation organized by the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, two other participants in the criminal group - Odessa ages of 15 and 20 years - were detained. These young men are also involved in the arson of the branches of Ukrposhta in Odessa and Nikolaev. All three suspects received a suspicion report, and two of them are in custody. The issue of holding a minor participant is resolved. The attackers are threatened with up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
