Six countries are ready to send troops to Ukraine for peacekeeping mission

Within the so -called "coalition, six countries have already expressed their willingness to send their troops to Ukraine to participate in a peacekeeping mission. About it reports AFP with reference to sources at NATO headquarters.

On April 10, a meeting of representatives of countries belonging to a coalition was held in Brussels. The leaders of the initiative are France and the United Kingdom.

"Our planning is real and significant. Our plans have been well developed," said the UK Defense Minister John Gili, noting that there was a significant progress during repeated rounds of negotiations.

According to European officials, there are now six countries, including the United Kingdom, France and the Baltic countries, are ready to provide a military contingent to cease fire in Ukraine.

At the same time, one of the main challenges for European allies is the lack of full awareness of parallel negotiations between the US and Russia. This creates risks to coordinating allies and a joint strategy.

Earlier, US State Department representatives stated that it is premature to speak of the final peace in Ukraine until a sustained ceasefire is reached.
