“No country seeks peace more than Ukraine . But after two years of the war, we also need to admit that there is no simple decision. In any case, Putin can put an end to this war at any moment, ”Solt said.
Chancellor also stressed that if Ukraine ceases its defense, then the threat of existence will increase. At the same time, he believed that Europe should send a clear signal to Ukraine's support in its struggle for survival and preservation of sovereignty.
"Therefore, our joint signal of Russia should be: we will support Ukraine, which fights for its survival and preservation of sovereignty, as much as it is necessary," - summed up Scholt.
