The Swedish government has decided to allocate 80 million Swedish crowns (about 7.2 million euros) in support of demining and using unmanned aerial vehicles for Ukraine within the framework of Ramstein. Sweden's armed forces will provide 40 million Swedish crowns in support of mine coalition, and another 40 million to support a coalition engaged in the use of drones.
This decision is part of the constant support that Sweden gives Ukraine in its struggle for independence and recovery after the war. Several defense coalitions were created as part of Ramstein's format, aimed at long -term support for Ukraine's defense. Sweden is a member of six such coalitions, which emphasizes its permanent role in ensuring security and stability in Europe.
Sweden Prime Minister, Ulf Cristorson, recently announced the largest plan for military re-equipment since the Cold War. This step involves an increase in funding to strengthen defense, both Sweden and its partners, including Ukraine.
In addition, Sweden has announced financial assistance to Ukraine of more than 1.4 billion Swedish crowns ($ 137.7 million). These funds will be aimed at restoring infrastructure, economic development and humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
This is not the first initiative of Sweden to help Ukraine. In addition to military support, the country actively promotes the development of civilian sectors and provides assistance in organizing the reconstruction of Ukraine, especially in the context of cooperation with Swiss companies.
An important part of assistance is the demining, which is one of the main problems in Ukraine after the end of active fighting. The remnants of explosive objects make the lives of civilians significantly complicate, so support in this area is strategic.
Supporting drones is also an important aspect of Ukraine's security. The use of such technologies helps to significantly reduce the risks to the military and allows you to effectively fulfill intelligence missions, which is critical in the current conditions of war.
Thus, Sweden continues to actively assist Ukraine, supporting it in efforts to restore and strengthen the country's defense capability.
